Spaghetti Bolognese
Simple and tasty spaghetti bolognese recipe.

Ingredients | Method |

Main | 1. Medium heat, add oil. |
1 tbsp oil | 2. Add finely chopped onions, carrots & garlic. Fry and stir till soft (10min). |
2 medium onions (finely chopped) | 3. Add mince. Medium-high heat, stirring till meat is browned (3-4min). |
3 carrots (finely chopped) | 4. Add whole tomatoes, rosemary, basil, oregano, bay leaves, tomato puree, beef stock cube, red wine & cheery tomatoes. Bring to boil. |
2 garlic cloves (finely chopped) | 5. Reduce to simmer and cover with a lid, stirring occasionally (1hr). |
500g bolognese mince (beef & pork) | 6. Cook spaghetti (follow instructions on packet). |
Sauce | 7. Drain spaghetti and stir into bolognese. |
800g whole tomatoes (tinned) | 8. Serve, topped with parmesan. |
